Do you mean what you say? Have you made a promise to do something for someone and then not do it? Have you said you would complete a goal and it's still not reached?
It's time to stop making promises that you never keep, whether it's to others or to yourself! You said you would start writing your own book at the beginning of this year and you haven't began. You said you would open up your own business, but you hadn't created a plan, what's stopping you?
"No one holds you back more than your own insecurities."- Susan Gale
Stop making excuses and get to work. It's time to execute your plans! How do I begin?
BELIEVE-You have the power, if you believe it, you can achieve it. If I want to do something and I tell myself I can't, I've already failed. There is great power in our words. Speak positively and you are on your way to great success.
VISION- Write out your goals, create a plan, make a vision board. The purpose of this is to help you focus on bringing your visions to life. If you want to own a salon, visualize yourself in your shop without limitations!
PLAN-You must create a detailed plan showing everything you need to do from beginning to end. Example: Goal- Become a business owner. Plan- Develop an idea, Get training on business owning, Create a business plan, Create your name/brand, Begin networking, Choose business location, etc. You must set deadlines in your calendar, or nothing will get done.
EXECUTE- Goal planning is not enough without execution you've done nothing. Complete your daily goals you've set for yourself, measure your daily progress, and don't stop until you've reached success. When you've reached one goal, move to another and repeat.
"Execution is the great unaddressed issue in the business world today. Its absence is the single biggest obstacle to success and the cause of most of the disappointments that are mistakenly attributed to other causes.” - Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan, authors of the book “Execution: The Discipline of Getting Things Done”
