Taking a Leap of Faith

Life just happens. Everything isn't always going to be exactly what you thought it would be. This paralyzes some people to be afraid of going after something that isn't in their comfort zone. Look, I know you're afraid. You're probably thinking of every worse case scenario that could happen to you...

"It won't work."

"I'm not good enough."

"I don't have it all together."

These are just excuses. Essentially, you're saying you don't have enough power to do it. That's pretty true. However, if you serve the God I serve, you'll understand that He has the power to make things happen through you.

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The problem is that you are operating from a place of "self", not recognizing the magnificence of God Himself. If He gave you the desire for the dream, do you think He would not perform? God isn't playing tricks on you! He wants you to have everything your heart desires.

It just takes a lot to get there mentally. Many people think if they just declare it will happen that is enough. It's not. You have to "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). What needs work is the way you see God's job and your job in making things happen.

Your job is the following:

•TRUST God with your entire life.

•Stop worrying about the "how" things will happen.

•Have big extreme faith that scares small minded people.

•Work consistently at your dream.

•Enjoy each and every day as if your dream has already come to pass.

God's job is the following:

•Provide for you for all of eternity.

•Make all things work together for your good.

•Bring divine connections to bring your dream into the earth, according to His good and perfect will.

•Love you unconditionally.

So don't confuse the two roles. Take your role seriously and stay in your lane. Let God do His new thing in you! It all starts with you taking that jump to get there. You have to trust that when you jump, if your parachute doesn't open when you think it should, that it will either open up in God's timing or He will catch you before you fall.
